THE MYSTIC PEPPERS
Born from different shores, united by the same restless need to create, THE MYSTIC PEPPERS is a five-piece band built around contrasts: warmth and power, intimacy and open spaces, darkness and light.
Their music brings together five very different backgrounds. A French guitarist and singer, an English guitarist and vocalist, a Jamaican singer, an Australian drummer, and a fifth member whose roots reach somewhere between cultures and continents. Different accents, different musical journeys, one shared voice.
THE MYSTIC PEPPERS's music is driven by electric guitars, powerful live drums, warm bass lines and expressive vocals. Their songs move freely between atmospheric pop-rock, melodic rock, blues, subtle reggae influences and quieter, deeply emotional moments.

Last Wave
The Mystic Peppers
Following TRIBE STARDUST and PANTHER’S VOICE, LAST WAVE naturally continues in the footsteps of The Mystic Peppers. The band returns with the same humanistic values, but in a world that has been profoundly transformed.
Wars, divisions, propaganda, power, borders, the destruction of nature: the challenges we face have become too great for us to remain mere spectators. LAST WAVE is a call to open our eyes, to question our certainties, and to rediscover what unites us, before it’s too late.
Musically, the album builds on the band’s identity, blending reggae, ska, rock, pop, and 1980s new wave influences, enriched with sounds from around the world. This is a must have album.
From The First Wave to The Humanist Wave, the album follows a single thread: looking at the world, looking at ourselves, and then choosing what we want to do with it.
LAST WAVE may be the last wave before a change in direction. And this time, the choice is ours.
12 tracks
[Verse 1 — Male vocal]
The morning comes, the city wakes,
another crisis on the screen.
A child is drawing flowers
while a family leaves their home.
The traffic moves, the headlines change,
another name, another place.
Everybody has an answer,
before they've heard the question.
[Chorus]
There is a wave beneath the surface,
moving where we cannot see.
Something waking in the silence,
something asking us to breathe.
There is a wave beneath the surface,
and it doesn't need a name.
Maybe change begins with someone
who refuses to look away.
[Instrumental — bass and clean guitar]
[Verse 2]
We hear the news from every corner,
each version fighting for the truth.
A neighbour speaks about the enemy
as if he knows what they have done.
But somewhere in a hospital room,
two strangers help each other stand.
For a moment there are no borders,
only one hand reaching for a hand.
[Chorus]
There is a wave beneath the surface,
moving where we cannot see.
Something waking in the silence,
something asking us to breathe.
There is a wave beneath the surface,
and it doesn't need a name.
Maybe change begins with someone
who refuses to look away.
[Instrumental — bass / guitar / saxophone]
[Bridge — stripped down]
Maybe we don't need another promise.
Maybe we need to listen first.
To the frightened, to the angry,
to the ones who have been lost.
[Male vocal]
A human voice is still a human voice,
even when we don't agree.
[Instrumental — groove builds]
[Final Chorus]
There is a wave beneath the surface,
moving through you and me.
Something waking in the silence,
something we were meant to see.
There is a wave beneath the surface,
and now I can feel the change.
Something is moving.
Something is waking.
The first wave is coming.
[Outro — instrumental]
[Verse 1 — Male vocal]
He came with promises in the morning,
said he knew what people needed.
After years of empty speeches,
a simple answer sounded good.
The newspapers grew quieter.
Questions disappeared from view.
Doors that once stood open
slowly learned to close.
[Chorus]
There is a throne above the city,
and someone wants to own the sky.
But a throne is built on silence,
and fear can hold it for a while.
No man was born above another.
No flag can make a life its own.
The higher that the throne is rising,
the more it needs us looking down.
[Instrumental — reggae groove / oud]
[Verse 2]
A woman keeps a photograph
hidden underneath her coat.
A student fills a notebook
with questions he is scared to show.
A father tells his son,
“Be careful what you say.”
And somewhere far away,
someone says, “It couldn't happen here.”
[Female vocal]
How long can silence protect you?
[Male vocal]
Until silence becomes the law.
[Instrumental — bass / guitar / oud]
[Bridge — stripped down]
Power forgets the hands that gave it.
It forgets the streets below.
A nation is more than one man's voice.
A flag is not a family name.
[Verse 3]
So let the questions fill the papers.
Let the frightened find their voice.
Let disagreement stay disagreement
before we turn it into war.
A door can close a thousand times,
but someone can still knock.
[Final Chorus]
There is a throne above the city,
and someone wants to own the sky.
But a throne is built on silence,
and fear can hold it for a while.
No man was born above another.
No flag can make a life its own.
[Outro — bass remains]
The throne remains.
For now.
[Verse 1 — Male vocal]
Every morning someone tells us
who to fear and who to trust.
A picture fills the screen,
a sentence starts a fire,
and before the story reaches us
we have already chosen sides.
One voice says the world is ending.
Another says there's nothing wrong.
A thousand people join the argument,
and nobody hears the question.
[Chorus]
There is so much noise around us,
I can barely hear a human voice.
Every answer comes before the question,
every silence looks like a choice.
There is so much noise around us,
everywhere I turn another fight.
Maybe we should leave a little space
for the words, “I don't know.”
[Instrumental — bass / guitar / brass]
[Verse 2]
They know exactly where we're angry.
They know exactly what will spread.
A photograph becomes a weapon,
a sentence becomes a wall.
We pass it on before we read it,
we repeat it because it fits.
And somewhere underneath the shouting
a stranger is still trying to speak.
[Female vocal]
Stop.
Listen.
What if the person you hate
has never heard your story?
[Male vocal]
What if I listened?
[Instrumental — ska/reggae break]
[Verse 3]
I don't want a world where everyone
agrees about everything.
The old man and the young woman,
the believer and the one who doubts,
should all be free to disagree
without becoming enemies.
Freedom isn't hearing only
the voices that sound like mine.
It begins when I can listen
without needing to win.
[Bridge — stripped down]
Before I press the button,
before I share the story,
before I turn a stranger
into someone I must fear,
let me breathe.
Let me read it once again.
Let me ask who needs my anger.
[Instrumental — bass and brass build]
[Final Chorus]
There is so much noise around us,
I can barely hear a human voice.
Every answer comes before the question,
every silence looks like a choice.
There is so much noise around us,
but I don't want fewer voices tonight.
I want to hear them.
Let them speak.
Outro — bass
[Verse 1 — Male vocal]
They left before the morning came,
a suitcase, a photograph, a name.
Behind them smoke was rising,
and nobody explained why.
A child looked back toward the houses.
His mother held his hand.
Somewhere beyond the railway,
another family ran.
[Chorus]
They call it a holy war,
they call it destiny.
They draw a line across the earth
and say, “This belongs to me.”
They raise their hands toward heaven,
then turn them into guns.
How many names can we give to God
before we remember we're one?
[Instrumental — oud / percussion / bass / electric guitar]
[Verse 2]
An old man prayed inside a church.
Across the street, another man prayed too.
Both carried photographs
of someone they had lost.
One spoke about his homeland.
The other spoke of his faith.
And somewhere behind a desk,
another border changed its shape.
[Chorus]
They call it a holy war,
they call it destiny.
They draw a line across the earth
and say, “This belongs to me.”
They raise their hands toward heaven,
then turn them into guns.
How many names can we give to God
before we remember we're one?
[Instrumental — extended]
[Female vocal]
What if the child across the river
has the same fear inside his eyes?
[Male vocal]
What if the land we fight to own
will still be here when we are gone?
[Instrumental — oud / violin / percussion]
[Verse 3]
I don't know where the first line started.
I don't know who was first betrayed.
I only know that every generation
can add another stone to the grave.
And underneath the flags and slogans,
people are still trying to live.
A woman opens up her doorway
and asks a stranger what he needs.
[Final Chorus]
They call it a holy war,
they call it destiny.
They draw a line across the earth
and say, “This belongs to me.”
They raise their hands toward heaven,
then turn them into guns.
How many names can we give to God
before we remember we're one?
[Outro — Female vocal, almost whispered]
The earth remembers every name.
The earth remains.
[Verse 1 — Male vocal]
He never stands behind the microphone,
but everybody knows his name.
He owns the paper, owns the channel,
owns a piece of every game.
A hand can shake a politician's hand
without appearing on the screen.
A promise travels through a doorway
where ordinary people have never been.
[Chorus]
The golden hand keeps moving,
from one pocket to another.
It buys a little silence,
it buys a little power.
The golden hand keeps reaching,
while the world keeps turning.
How much can one man hold
before his hands stop feeling?
[Instrumental — bass / guitar / sax]
[Verse 2]
He doesn't need to tell us what to think.
He only chooses what we see.
A story disappears beneath another,
a favour becomes a policy.
Somewhere a worker counts the hours.
Somewhere a family counts the cost.
And somewhere money changes hands
while nobody admits what has been bought.
[Chorus]
The golden hand keeps moving,
from one pocket to another.
It buys a little silence,
it buys a little power.
The golden hand keeps reaching,
while the world keeps turning.
How much can one man hold
before his hands stop feeling?
[Instrumental — extended bass groove]
[Bridge — Female vocal]
If money can open every door,
who decides where the road should go?
[Male vocal]
If everything has its price,
what happens to the things we cannot sell?
[Instrumental — sax / bass / guitar]
[Verse 3]
I don't believe that every wealthy man
has chosen greed above the rest.
But when a fortune speaks too loudly,
who gets heard beneath it?
We built a world where money can travel
faster than a human voice.
Perhaps the question isn't who is rich,
but who still has a choice.
[Final Chorus]
The golden hand keeps moving,
from one pocket to another.
It buys a little silence,
it buys a little power.
The golden hand keeps reaching,
but the world is not a market.
There are things no hand can purchase:
a human life, a human heart.
[Outro — bass and sax]
The golden hand keeps reaching...
But it cannot hold the world.
[Verse 1 — Male vocal]
Every four years we choose a voice,
then send it somewhere far away.
We watch the speeches from our sofas
and complain about the words they say.
They promise change before the morning,
they promise answers before the vote.
Then the doors close behind the cameras
and someone else decides the road.
[Chorus]
Who speaks for us
when the room is closed?
Who speaks for us
when nobody knows?
We gave them our voices,
but we still have our own.
Who speaks for us
when we are standing alone?
[Instrumental — bass / guitar]
[Verse 2]
A politician learns the language
of the people in the street.
Another learns the language
of the people they will meet.
Some defend the ones who chose them.
Some forget them after the day.
And sometimes we accept the silence
because it's easier that way.
[Chorus]
Who speaks for us
when the room is closed?
Who speaks for us
when nobody knows?
We gave them our voices,
but we still have our own.
Who speaks for us
when we are standing alone?
[Instrumental — new-wave guitar / sax]
[Bridge — Female vocal]
You say they never listen.
[Male vocal]
Maybe they don't.
[Female vocal]
You say they never change.
[Male vocal]
Maybe they won't.
[Female vocal]
Then what are you waiting for?
[Instrumental — stripped down]
[Verse 3]
A democracy is more than choosing
who will sit behind the door.
It lives in every question asked,
every hand raised, every voice heard.
We can disagree without destroying.
We can demand without hating.
And if the people give away their power,
they cannot blame the world for taking it.
[Final Chorus]
Who speaks for us
when the room is closed?
Who speaks for us
when nobody knows?
We gave them our voices,
but we still have our own.
Who speaks for us?
Who speaks for you?
[Outro — bass / guitar / sax]
[Verse 1 — Male vocal]
She left with one small suitcase,
a photograph inside her coat.
The house was still behind her,
but it was no longer home.
She crossed the river before sunrise,
walking with a borrowed name.
She didn't know where she was going,
only what she had to leave.
[Chorus]
No border can hold the sky,
no line can stop the rain.
You can draw a map across the earth,
but the wind will cross it again.
No border can hold the sky,
no wall can stop a dream.
We are all somewhere between
the place we left
and the place we've never seen.
[Instrumental — African percussion / flute / bass]
[Verse 2]
A man at the station asked her,
“Where do you come from?”
She gave him the name of a country
he had only seen on television.
He wanted to know her story.
She didn't know where to start.
There were too many nights behind her,
too many names inside her heart.
[Chorus]
No border can hold the sky,
no line can stop the rain.
You can draw a map across the earth,
but the wind will cross it again.
No border can hold the sky,
no wall can stop a dream.
We are all somewhere between
the place we left
and the place we've never seen.
[Instrumental — violin / flute / guitar]
[Bridge — Female vocal]
I was born on one side of the river.
You were born on the other side.
Tell me what makes one of us
more entitled to the light.
[Male vocal]
Perhaps the earth never promised
that we would stay where we began.
Perhaps home is not a border,
but the people who still take your hand.
[Instrumental — extended world/reggae groove]
[Verse 3]
Some will arrive and build a new life.
Some will return when it is safe.
Some will carry two worlds with them
for the rest of their days.
And maybe we should ask the question
before we ask where they belong:
What happened to you?
What do you need?
How long have you been alone?
[Final Chorus]
No border can hold the sky,
no line can stop the rain.
You can draw a map across the earth,
but the wind will cross it again.
No border can hold the sky,
no wall can stop a dream.
Different roads beneath our feet,
but the same sky above us all.
[Outro — flute / violin / bass]
The same sky.
Above us all.
[Verse 1 — Male vocal]
The river keeps on moving
beneath the bridges we have built.
The forest stands in silence
where the machines have left their scars.
We take the water from the mountains,
we take the trees and call it growth.
Then we look across the empty fields
and wonder where the birds have gone.
[Chorus]
Mother, we are listening,
even if we learned too late.
The earth was never waiting
for permission to create.
Mother, we are listening,
to the river and the rain.
We are part of what we damage,
and we can change again.
[Instrumental — percussion / bass / acoustic guitar]
[Verse 2]
A summer lasts a little longer.
A winter comes and disappears.
The old man watches the seasons
change faster than he remembers.
We speak about the future
as if it belongs to someone else.
But every road we leave behind us
is a road our children walk.
[Chorus]
Mother, we are listening,
even if we learned too late.
The earth was never waiting
for permission to create.
Mother, we are listening,
to the river and the rain.
We are part of what we damage,
and we can change again.
[Instrumental — traditional flute / bass]
[Bridge — Female vocal]
You don't need our promises.
You need us to remember
that we are living here,
not standing above you.
[Male vocal]
I put my hand upon the ground.
I hear something moving underneath.
[Instrumental — drums / percussion / guitar]
[Verse 3]
The forest doesn't ask our language.
The ocean doesn't know our names.
The birds don't understand our borders,
and the wind has never learned to choose.
Maybe that's the lesson
we have been trying not to hear:
Nothing lives alone.
Nothing lives forever.
Everything is connected here.
[Final Chorus]
Mother, we are listening,
and the silence sounds so clear.
The earth was never ours to conquer.
We were always living here.
Mother, we are listening,
to the river and the rain.
We are part of what is broken.
We can be part of the change.
[Outro — natural flute / bass]
The river keeps on moving.
We are listening.
[Verse 1 — Male vocal]
I spent so many years
looking at the world through other people's eyes.
I knew who was guilty,
who was lying,
who should be afraid.
I knew which side was right.
I knew which side was wrong.
It was easy from a distance,
when the mirror wasn't there.
[Instrumental — bass / guitar]
[Verse 2]
I shared the story because it angered me.
I repeated things I hadn't checked.
I laughed when someone lost their voice
because I thought they deserved it.
I asked for justice for my own people
and forgot about somebody else's pain.
I wanted freedom when it was mine,
then found reasons to limit it for others.
[Chorus]
Then I looked into the mirror
and there was nowhere else to go.
No politician.
No stranger.
No enemy to blame.
Just me.
[Instrumental — extended]
[Female vocal — quietly]
What will you do
when the question comes back to you?
[Male vocal]
I don't know.
But this time
I won't look away.
[Instrumental — piano enters / bass and guitar]
[Verse 3]
Maybe I have been part of the noise.
Maybe I have been part of the wall.
Maybe some of the things I believed
were only things I wanted to believe.
That doesn't make every truth uncertain.
It only means I have to listen.
It means I can change my mind
without becoming someone else.
[Chorus]
Then I looked into the mirror
and there was nowhere else to go.
No politician.
No stranger.
No enemy to blame.
Just me.
[Instrumental — bass / guitar / piano]
[Bridge — stripped down]
If I want a world with less hatred,
I have to begin somewhere.
If I want people to listen,
I have to learn to listen too.
If I want freedom for everyone,
I cannot keep it only for myself.
[Final]
I looked into the mirror.
I didn't like everything I saw.
But I stayed.
And for the first time,
that felt like a beginning.
[Outro — bass / clean guitar]
[Verse 1 — Male vocal]
We've watched the walls getting higher,
we've watched the silence spread.
We've watched another promise
turn to another empty speech.
We've seen the fear on every screen,
the anger passing hand to hand.
And somewhere underneath the noise,
something is refusing to sleep.
[Chorus]
This is the rebellion,
not a war and not a gun.
It's the moment we remember
we are more than what we've done.
This is the rebellion,
when the frightened start to speak.
When a hand reaches for another
and the strong protect the weak.
[Instrumental — bass / guitar / brass]
[Verse 2]
We don't need another master.
We don't need another throne.
We don't need someone telling us
which hearts belong and which don't.
Let the streets belong to everyone.
Let the questions stay alive.
Let us disagree without becoming
everything we say we despise.
[Chorus]
This is the rebellion,
not a war and not a gun.
It's the moment we remember
we are more than what we've done.
This is the rebellion,
when the frightened start to speak.
When a hand reaches for another
and the strong protect the weak.
[Instrumental — ska/reggae break]
[Bridge — Female vocal]
Enough of the fear.
[Male vocal]
Enough of the silence.
[Female vocal]
Enough of the hatred.
[Male vocal]
Enough of pretending
nothing can change.
[Instrumental — drums / bass build]
[Verse 3]
Maybe the first act of rebellion
is refusing to become cruel.
Maybe courage isn't winning.
Maybe courage is staying human.
When they tell us to hate our neighbour,
we can choose another way.
When they tell us truth is worthless,
we can still ask what is true.
[Final Chorus]
This is the rebellion,
and it starts with you and me.
Not with flags and not with weapons,
but with what we choose to be.
This is the rebellion,
let it rise without a king.
Let every voice that once was silent
find a reason now to sing.
[Final instrumental — bass / guitar / brass]
[Outro]
Enough.
We are awake.
[Verse 1 — Male vocal]
Nobody gave them a medal.
Nobody called them heroes.
They were people on a street
who stopped when someone fell.
A woman opened up her doorway.
A stranger shared what he had left.
A young man stood beside a neighbour
when the crowd had turned away.
[Pre-Chorus]
Maybe this is how it starts,
not with a leader,
not with a flag,
but with one human heart
refusing to look away.
[Chorus]
There is a humanist wave
moving underneath the world.
Different voices, different colours,
every woman, every man and every child.
There is a humanist wave,
and it doesn't need a throne.
It begins wherever someone says:
“You are not alone.”
[Instrumental — bass / guitar / percussion]
[Verse 2]
A teacher stays after the lesson.
A nurse sits quietly beside a bed.
A stranger translates for a stranger
because they cannot understand.
Someone protects a piece of forest.
Someone tells the truth when lies are easier.
Someone changes their mind
when they discover they were wrong.
[Chorus]
There is a humanist wave
moving underneath the world.
Different voices, different colours,
every woman, every man and every child.
There is a humanist wave,
and it doesn't need a throne.
It begins wherever someone says:
“You are not alone.”
[Instrumental — world percussion / brass / bass]
[Bridge — Female vocal]
We don't have to be the same.
[Male vocal]
We only have to remember
that another life matters too.
[Female vocal]
We don't have to know the answer.
[Male vocal]
We only have to keep asking
what kind of world we're leaving behind.
[Instrumental — gradual build]
[Verse 3]
Perhaps the heroes we were waiting for
were never coming from the sky.
Perhaps they were the hands beside us,
the ones we almost passed by.
And perhaps the future isn't something
someone else is going to give.
It is built in all the little choices
we make while we are here.
[Final Chorus]
There is a humanist wave
moving underneath the world.
Different voices, different colours,
every woman, every man and every child.
There is a humanist wave,
and now I feel it rising.
It begins with you.
It begins with me.
It begins wherever we decide
that every life is worth defending.
[Extended instrumental — bass / guitar / percussion / brass]
[Outro — Female and Male]
You are not alone.
We are not alone.
The wave is moving.
[Verse 1 — Male vocal]
We have been walking for a long time,
through cities, borders, fire and rain.
We have carried other people's stories,
and sometimes carried our own shame.
We have watched the powerful rise.
We have watched the frightened disappear.
We have seen the earth beneath our feet
and still behaved as if it wasn't here.
[Instrumental — bass / guitar]
[Verse 2]
We asked the world to change around us.
We waited for somebody to begin.
But every road eventually returns
to the person walking on it.
So maybe this is where it starts.
Not somewhere distant.
Not someday.
Here, with the life we have,
and the choices we make today.
[Chorus]
This may be our last chance
to remember what we are.
To choose life over hatred,
to choose love over fear.
This may be our last chance
to leave something worth the light.
Not a perfect world.
Just a world
still alive.
[Instrumental — reggae groove / guitar]
[Verse 3]
Love is not a word we say
when everything is going well.
Freedom isn't only having choices.
It's protecting someone else's as well.
And hope is not believing
that tomorrow will be kind.
Hope is building something better
when we cannot see the end.
[Female vocal]
What will you leave behind?
[Male vocal]
I don't know.
But I know what I want to keep.
[Instrumental — gradual build]
[Bridge]
Keep the river running.
Keep the forest breathing.
Keep the child believing
that the future belongs to everyone.
Keep the stranger welcome.
Keep the question open.
Keep a place for forgiveness
when we have lost our way.
[Instrumental — extended]
[Male vocal]
If we are different,
let us remain different.
If we are wounded,
let us learn to heal.
If we are afraid,
let us stand together.
If we have the power to choose,
let us choose life.
[Final Chorus]
This may be our last chance
to remember what we are.
To choose life over hatred,
to choose love over fear.
This may be our last chance
to leave something worth the light.
Not a perfect world.
Just a world
still alive.
[Extended instrumental — bass / drums / guitar / percussion / sax / world instruments]
[Final — stripped down]
The future is not waiting somewhere.
It is already in our hands.
[Silence]
[Male vocal — softly]
What will we do with it?
[Outro — bass / clean guitar]

Panther's Voice
The Mystic Peppers
PANTHER’S VOICE is the second album by THE MYSTIC PEPPERS, following Tribe Stardust. Through ten songs, the album takes us on an inner and outer journey, guided by the mysterious presence of a black panther.
Blending melodic rock, reggae, blues and world influences, the album explores universal human values — fraternity, compassion, respect, freedom, love and our connection with nature — while questioning the borders, fears and beliefs we create ourselves.
An intimate, mysterious and human journey where the Panther may be an animal, a spirit, a guide… or simply a voice within us.
10 tracks
I woke up with a question
I could never leave behind
So I packed a little courage
And I left my world behind
I walked across the cities
I crossed the open sea
I watched a million faces
But none of them were me
[Verse 2]
I saw a child laughing
With nothing in his hands
I saw a man with everything
Still trying to understand
I saw people build their borders
Then forget what they were for
I saw them reaching for tomorrow
While today stood at the door
[Chorus]
So I keep moving
Under the sun, under the rain
I keep looking
For something I can't name
Maybe the answer
Is waiting somewhere on the way
Maybe the question
Is the reason I'm here today
[Bridge]
I don't want another promise
I don't need another sign
I just want to open my eyes
And see beyond the things I know
[Final Chorus]
Maybe the answer
Was never waiting far away
Maybe the question
Was inside me all the way
[Outro]
And somewhere beyond the horizon
Something was waiting there
I didn't know its name
I turned around
And there you were
No sound
No footsteps
Nothing before
Two eyes in the darkness
Looking straight through me
I couldn't tell if you were watching
Or waiting for me
I said:
Who are you?
You didn't move
Where did you come from?
You just looked at me
[Part II - The Voice]
Then I heard you
Though your mouth never moved
You keep asking where I came from
You keep asking where I go
Tell me what you are
Does it really matter?
Tell me why you're here
Perhaps you already know
[Part III]
I saw you beside the river
Then you vanished in the rain
I saw you in the city
Then I found you there again
You walked across the desert
Like the desert knew your name
I looked away for one second
You were gone
[Part IV - The Question]
You have crossed so many borders
But you carry them inside
You have travelled half the world
Still you haven't travelled far
Are you real?
Are you?
[Outro]
I looked into those eyes
For the first time
I had no question
Only silence
And she walked away
Another road
Another border
Another name
But the same wind
Is blowing through the trees
[Verse 1]
I crossed a river at sunrise
I watched the city disappear
I heard a language I didn't know
But somehow the laughter sounded clear
I saw a woman carry water
I saw a child running free
I saw a thousand different lives
And they all looked back at me
[Pre-Chorus]
Different faces
Different names
Different stories
Different ways
But when the night comes down
We all look up
[Chorus]
The same sky
Above us all
The same moon
When the darkness falls
Different roads
Different lives
But the same stars
Are burning in our eyes
The same sky
Above us all
No border reaches that far
[Verse 2]
I crossed a line drawn on a map
And nothing changed beneath my feet
The soil was still the same old earth
The rain still sounded on the street
We build our walls
We build our nations
We give our differences a name
But I began to wonder
Why we keep playing the same game
[Panther]
You crossed the border
Did the border cross you?
[Male]
I don't know
[Panther]
Look again
[Instrumental Break]
[Bridge]
Maybe the world was never divided
Maybe we learned to divide it
Maybe the distance between us
Is only something we decided
[Chorus]
The same sky
Above us all
The same moon
When the darkness falls
Different roads
Different lives
But the same stars
Are burning in our eyes
[Final Chorus]
The same sky
Above us all
One earth beneath our feet
Different hearts
Different dreams
Still we meet
[Outro]
I looked at the sky
And for once
I didn't see a border
I walked through streets I couldn't name
I heard a thousand different tongues
I saw a thousand different faces
And somehow felt I knew them all
A mother holding her baby
A stranger smiling in the rain
A man who lost everything he had
A child who laughed without a name
[Chorus]
One human race
Under the same moon
Under the same sky
One human race
Different roads
Same reason to survive
We speak different languages
We carry different scars
But underneath the skin
We're not as different as we are
[Verse 2]
You built your borders
Then built your fears
You taught your children
Who they should call strangers
You crossed the oceans
Looking for a better world
Then drew a line across the ground
And called it yours
[Panther]
You gave yourselves so many names
So many flags, so many lines
But tell me, when the night comes down
Which one of them is yours?
[Chorus]
One human race
Under the same moon
Under the same sky
One human race
Different roads
Same reason to survive
We speak different languages
We carry different scars
But underneath the skin
We're not as different as we are
[Breakdown]
Keep your names
Keep your stories
Keep your differences
Just don't turn them into walls
[Final Chorus]
One human race
Under the same moon
Under the same sky
No border can divide
What is alive
One human race
[Outro]
Different is not divided
We're human
Exactly
I have seen a hand become a weapon
When it could have helped someone stand
I have seen people turn away
From someone lying in the street
I have heard a thousand promises
Made when nothing was at stake
And watched them disappear
The moment they became inconvenient
[Chorus]
When did kindness become weakness?
When did pride become a crown?
When did listening become surrender?
When did helping bring us down?
[Verse 2]
We know how to build a house
But do we know how to welcome someone in?
We know how to win a war
But do we know how to forgive?
We measure wealth in what we own
We measure power in what we take
We measure people by their borders
And call the difference a mistake
[Panther]
You know so much
You remember so little
[Male]
What did we forget?
[Panther]
The simple things
[Refrain]
To care
To share
To understand
To reach for someone else's hand
[Bridge]
You don't need to save the whole world
You don't need to carry everyone
Just don't become so busy winning
That you forget what you have become
[Final]
Respect is not weakness
Compassion is not defeat
Sometimes the strongest human being
Is the one who chooses peace
[Outro]
Where did these values go?
You stopped looking for them
I put my hand upon the ground
And felt a heartbeat underneath
Not mine
Something older
[Verse 1]
The river doesn't belong to us
The mountain doesn't know our names
The forest never signed a contract
The ocean never asked for chains
We came here after everything
And called the place our own
We built our cities on the earth
Then wondered why they felt like stone
[Refrain]
You are not above the earth
You are inside it
You are not outside the living world
You are part of it
[Verse 2 - Panther]
You call her Mother Earth
Then treat her like a machine
You say you love the living world
But forget what living means
The bird does not need your language
The tree does not need your prayers
The wolf does not need permission
To breathe the same night air
[Dialogue]
What are we?
A very young species
Trying to understand
An ancient song
[Chant]
Earth beneath us
Sky above us
Life around us
Life within us
Earth beneath us
Sky above us
Life around us
Life within us
[Outro]
I put my hand upon the ground
This time
I didn't ask a question
I listened
We build a wall
Then build another
We fear the stranger
We fear each other
We fear the question
We fear the doubt
We lock the door
And shut the world out
[Chorus]
These are the walls we build
These are the chains we choose
These are the names we give our fear
These are the things we lose
[Verse 2]
A wall called money
A wall called faith
A wall called colour
A wall called race
A wall called power
A wall called pride
A wall so high
We can't see what's outside
[Panther]
Who built the first wall?
[Male]
We did
[Panther]
Who keeps rebuilding it?
[Male]
We do
[Panther]
Then why do you call it freedom?
[Instrumental]
[Bridge]
Maybe the prison
Has no bars
Maybe the border
Lives in our hearts
Maybe the monster
We fear outside
Is only the shadow
We carry inside
[Final Chorus]
These are the walls we build
These are the chains we choose
[Outro]
Open one door
You may find
There was never a wall
I asked the mountain
I asked the river
I asked the night
To tell me why
Nothing answered
[Verse 1]
I carried questions like stones
Inside my pockets every day
I thought if I could name them all
The fear would finally go away
I asked the people for their wisdom
I asked the stars above my head
I searched for something I could hold
Something certain
Something said
[Refrain]
No answer
No answer
Maybe the silence
Is the answer
No answer
No answer
Maybe I don't need to know
[Verse 2]
I wanted truth without a shadow
I wanted light without the night
I wanted roads without a turning
I wanted wrong to become right
But every door I tried to open
Led me somewhere I had been
And every question kept returning
Like a voice beneath my skin
[Panther]
What are you looking for?
[Male]
An answer
[Panther]
Why?
[Male]
So I can stop searching
[Panther]
Then stop
[Instrumental Passage]
[Bridge]
Let the river take the question
Let the wind erase the name
Let the things I cannot understand
Remain exactly as they came
I don't need to hold the future
I don't need to own the past
Maybe freedom isn't knowing
Maybe freedom is to ask
[Final Refrain]
No answer
No answer
And I can finally breathe
No answer
No answer
And nothing is missing
[Outro]
I closed my eyes
The world was still there
I listened
And for the first time
I heard myself
Where does yesterday go
When today arrives?
Where does tomorrow wait
Before it becomes real?
[Verse 1]
I watched the river moving
But the river never stayed
I asked the panther
Where is it going?
[Panther]
Where do you think it goes?
[Chorus]
Beyond time
Beyond the name
Beyond the beginning
Beyond the end
We are moving
We are changing
But perhaps nothing
Ever leaves
[Verse 2]
A child becomes a memory
A memory becomes a dream
A dream becomes a question
A question becomes a life
A star becomes a story
A story becomes a voice
And somewhere in the silence
Everything is still alive
[Panther]
You ask:
When did it begin?
You ask:
When will it end?
Perhaps you're asking
The wrong question
[Chorus]
Beyond time
Beyond the name
Beyond the beginning
Beyond the end
We are moving
We are changing
But perhaps nothing
Ever leaves
[Final]
The river doesn't disappear
It becomes something else
[Outro]
Where are we going?
You are already there
I came looking for an answer
I crossed the world to find a sign
I thought the truth was somewhere waiting
At the end of some distant line
I met a shadow in the darkness
I heard a voice without a name
And every answer that she gave me
Only made me ask again
[Panther]
What did you find?
[Male]
I found that I was looking
In the wrong direction
[Verse 2]
I thought the world was made of borders
I thought the stranger lived outside
I thought that time was taking everything
I thought that death was where things died
But every river joins another
Every road becomes a road
Every living thing is changing
Nothing travels alone
[Panther]
And what do you believe now?
[Male]
I don't know
And for the first time
I'm not afraid to say it
[Dialogue]
Are you the earth?
Perhaps
Are you my mind?
Perhaps
Are you the future?
Perhaps you are
[Verse 3]
I stopped looking for the answer
I stopped asking who was right
I learned to listen to the silence
I learned to look beyond the lines
And somewhere far beyond the darkness
I saw two eyes beneath the moon
I didn't know if she was waiting
Or if she was me
[Final]
I hear your voice
I hear the world
I hear the silence in between
I hear your voice
And now I know
I don't have to know what you are
[Outro - Panther]
You thought you were following me
You were following yourself
[Final Sound]
A distant panther growl

Tribe Stardust
The Mystic Peppers
Their first album, Tribe Starduts, is a collection of eight songs about love, life, connection, change and the journey we share.
From the searching spirit of Signal in the Dark and the quiet determination of Just Another Step, through the intimacy of There Is a Light Between Us and the strength of No Way Back, the album moves between darkness and light, storms and open skies, memory and new beginnings.
Burning Skies brings a sense of freedom and escape, while Words in the Night explores the things left unspoken. The Light Remains carries the album toward resilience and hope, before The Road We Choose opens onto a brighter horizon — a celebration of moving forward together, whatever the road may bring.
The album is not about having all the answers.
It is about moving forward.
About choosing the road together.
About the sea, the wind, the trees, the sun after the storm — and the light that remains.
Now, with Open Skies, Blue Star is taking these songs on the road.
Five musicians. Five backgrounds. One journey.
The road is open. The sun is rising. Blue Star is on tour.
8 tracks
Like a distant star returning to the night
Two roads apart, two lives unknown
Still something in me knew the way back home
The trees were bending in the wind
Their roots held deeper than we'd ever been
And somewhere underneath the endless sky
I felt your heartbeat answering mine
Maybe we've been here before
Maybe our souls remember more
Than all the years we've left behind
Somewhere, somehow, you were always on my mind
We are a signal in the dark
Two distant fires, one single spark
Across the mountains, across the sea
Something keeps calling you to me
And when the road is hard to see
I'll keep my feet beneath me
I'll walk it straight, I'll do my best
And let the rest become the rest
I hear the ocean breathe at night
Rolling forever underneath the moonlight
Every wave comes back to shore
Like a promise we've forgotten once before
The old trees know the weight of time
They lose their leaves, yet somehow still they climb
Through every storm, through every rain
They stand again and reach for light again
Maybe life is not a line
Maybe we're just learning how to read the signs
And every turn, and every scar
Is another road that brought us where we are
We are a signal in the dark
Two distant fires, one single spark
Across the mountains, across the sea
Something keeps calling you to me
And when the road is hard to see
I'll keep my feet beneath me
I'll walk it straight, I'll do my best
And let the rest become the rest
If tomorrow brings a storm
I'll remember what the trees have taught
Bend with the wind but don't let go
Keep your roots where they belong
And if the world should pull us far
I'll follow the light between the stars
No need to know where this will end
Some souls are meant to meet again
We are a signal in the dark
Two distant fires, one single spark
Across the mountains, across the sea
Something keeps calling you to me
And when the road is hard to see
I'll keep my feet beneath me
I'll walk it straight, I'll do my best
With an open heart, I'll face the rest
We are alive, we are still here
We carry love through every year
And wherever this long road may go
I'll walk beside you, step by step, slow
Under the trees, beside the sea
You found your way back home to me
Beneath the fading of the stars
We don't know what the day will bring
But there's a quiet hope in everything
The trees are standing in the rain
Their branches carry every change
They never ask the wind to stay
They bend, they breathe, they find their way
We don't have to see the end
We only have to take the next step
With open eyes and open hands
We'll do the best we can
Just another step
Another road beneath our feet
Another breath
Another chance to start again
And if the sky turns grey
We'll wait for light to find its way
I don't need to know where it goes
As long as I walk with you
Somewhere beyond the distant hills
The ocean keeps on turning still
Each wave returns to meet the shore
Then disappears and comes once more
We carry things we cannot change
Old memories, familiar names
But love is not a place to stay
It's something we can take along the way
There will be moments we don't understand
There will be days we lose our ground
But I'll remember who we are
And keep my eyes upon the stars
Just another step
Another road beneath our feet
Another breath
Another chance to start again
And if the sky turns grey
We'll wait for light to find its way
I don't need to know where it goes
As long as I walk with you
If we get lost along the way
We don't have to be afraid
The river doesn't know the sea
But still it finds where it should be
And if tomorrow asks too much
I'll remember your hand in mine
We may not have the answers
But we still have time
Just another step
Another road beneath our feet
Another breath
Another chance to start again
And if the sky turns grey
We'll wait for light to find its way
We'll do our best, we'll carry on
Until the darkness turns to dawn
Just another step
Nothing more, nothing less
With an open heart
We'll give this life our best
The road goes on
The night moves on
And somewhere in the morning
We'll find the light
I can feel it when you smile
Like the sun across the water
Breaking through the clouds a while
We don't need a thousand words
To tell us what we know
Some things live beneath the silence
Somewhere only hearts can go
And when you move a little closer
I can hear the whole world fade
Like the wind among the branches
Calling softly through the shade
There is a light between us
Burning quietly, burning bright
Like the moon upon the ocean
Like a fire in the night
There is a road beneath us
And the stars above our heads
Wherever life may take us
I'll be walking there with you instead
I have seen the morning rising
Through the windows of your eyes
I have felt the changing seasons
And the years go drifting by
The sea can keep its secrets
The mountains can keep their names
But every time I hold you
Nothing ever feels the same
And if the world should turn around us
If the ground should disappear
I'll remember how you found me
And I'll know that you are here
There is a light between us
Burning quietly, burning bright
Like the moon upon the ocean
Like a fire in the night
There is a road beneath us
And the stars above our heads
Wherever life may take us
I'll be walking there with you instead
Maybe love is not a promise
Maybe love is just a way
Of choosing someone every morning
And choosing them again each day
Like the trees that face the weather
Like the river finds the sea
We don't have to know tomorrow
You are here, and so am I
There is a light between us
Burning quietly, burning bright
Like the moon upon the ocean
Like a fire in the night
There is a road beneath us
And the stars above our heads
Wherever life may take us
I'll be walking there with you instead
There is a light between us
And I know it will remain
Through the summer, through the winter
Through the sunshine and the rain
There is a light
Between us
There is a light
And it leads us home
There's something changing in the air
We hear the thunder in the distance
But I know you'll still be there
The world can turn without a warning
It can take more than it gives
But when the ground begins to shake
We know the way we want to live
Let the wind come through the valley
Let the rain fall where it may
We have nothing left to prove
We just have to face the day
There is no way back
To the people we once were
No way back
To the fear we left behind
Let the whole world change around us
Let the darkness cross the sky
I'll be standing here beside you
And we'll make it through the night
The roads are closed, the rivers rising
The old trees bend beneath the storm
We watch the waves against the harbor
And we hold each other warm
There are things we cannot alter
There are wounds we cannot see
But whatever waits beyond us
You will never face alone with me
If the night should take the daylight
If the road should disappear
We will walk until we find it
We will walk because we're here
There is no way back
To the people we once were
No way back
To the fear we left behind
Let the whole world change around us
Let the darkness cross the sky
I'll be standing here beside you
And we'll make it through the night
I don't promise you a life
Without sorrow, without pain
I can only promise this
I'll be here through every change
When the world becomes too heavy
When the road is hard to find
Put your hand inside my hand
And leave the fear behind
There is no way back
And I wouldn't want to go
Every road that brought us here
Is a road we had to know
Let the whole world change around us
Let the darkness cross the sky
I'll be standing here beside you
And we'll make it through the night
There is no way back
Only somewhere we can go
And whatever waits tomorrow
We'll discover it together
The storm will pass
The night will fade
And we'll still be here
No way back
Only forward
Together
With the windows down, the ocean drawing near
The wind was carrying the scent of rain
And for a while we forgot every name
The road was winding underneath the trees
The sunlight moving softly through the leaves
You looked at me and smiled without a word
And suddenly the whole world could be heard
There's a place beyond the noise
Where we can hear our own voice
No promises we have to keep
Just this moment, just this sea
Under burning skies
With the ocean in our eyes
We don't need to know tomorrow
We just need to feel alive
Let the wind carry us
Let the old world disappear
If this moment is all we have
Then I want to be right here
The evening came in colors on the bay
The last light slowly turning gold to grey
The trees were whispering above the sand
And I could feel your fingers in my hand
We have spent so many years trying to know
Which way the river, which way life would flow
But maybe life was never meant to be
A map of where we're going, only where we need to be
There's a fire beneath the silence
There's a rhythm in the rain
And every breath we take together
Makes the moment live again
Under burning skies
With the ocean in our eyes
We don't need to know tomorrow
We just need to feel alive
Let the wind carry us
Let the old world disappear
If this moment is all we have
Then I want to be right here
We don't own the road
We don't own the sea
We don't know where the years will take us
Or who we're meant to be
But I know this moment
And I know your hand
Sometimes that's enough
To understand
Under burning skies
With the ocean in our eyes
We don't need to know tomorrow
We just need to feel alive
Let the wind carry us
Let the old world disappear
If this moment is all we have
Then I want to be right here
Under burning skies
With the whole world far behind
I'll keep walking by your side
With an open heart and open mind
The road goes on
The sea rolls in
The light is fading
But we're still here
Under burning skies
The moon is hiding in the clouds
I can hear the distant thunder
But somehow everything is quiet now
There are words I never told you
Not because I didn't know
Sometimes love is found in silence
In the things we never show
And when the world becomes too loud
I close my eyes and hear you breathe
Somewhere underneath the noise
There's a place where we are free
These are the words in the dark
The ones we carry in our hearts
No one can see them, no one knows
But somehow you can hear them close
And if the night should hide the stars
I'll find you wherever you are
I don't need a light to know
Which way my heart is meant to go
The old trees move against the moonlight
Their shadows falling on the ground
Every branch becomes a memory
Every silence becomes a sound
I remember all the mornings
I remember every road
And I know that life keeps changing
But some things never let us go
If tomorrow brings a question
If the answer takes its time
We don't have to fear the silence
We can leave the words behind
These are the words in the dark
The ones we carry in our hearts
No one can see them, no one knows
But somehow you can hear them close
And if the night should hide the stars
I'll find you wherever you are
I don't need a light to know
Which way my heart is meant to go
Sometimes we spend our lives
trying to explain what cannot be explained.
A look.
A touch.
A silence that says more than a thousand words.
And maybe that's what love really is.
Not having all the answers.
Not knowing what tomorrow brings.
Just knowing
that when the darkness comes,
there is someone beside you.
So let the night fall around us
Let the distant thunder roll
There are things beyond our knowing
But we know where we belong
And when the morning finds us
We'll still be standing here
With the words we never needed
And the things we hold most dear
These are the words in the dark
The ones we carry in our hearts
No one can see them, no one knows
But somehow you can hear them close
And if the night should hide the stars
I'll find you wherever you are
I don't need a light to know
Which way my heart is meant to go
These are the words in the dark
Still burning like a quiet spark
And when the morning comes again
I'll find you there, my love, my friend
No need for words
No need for light
I know you're there
I know you're mine
Watched the years come and go
Seen the rivers find the ocean
Seen the places that we know
There were nights beneath the darkness
There were mornings full of light
And somehow through the distance
We kept finding our way back
Maybe we were never lost
Maybe we were learning how
To hear the quiet underneath
The noise of everything around
The light remains
When everything has changed
Through the falling rain
Through the wind and open skies
The light remains
No matter where we are
Like a fire in the distance
Like a star that never dies
The old trees still remember
Every storm they've ever known
They bend beneath the weather
But their roots have always held
And the sea keeps moving forward
Never asking where it goes
Every wave returns to shore
Then disappears and starts again
We don't need to know tomorrow
We don't need to see the end
Life will open where it opens
And we'll meet it as we can
The light remains
When everything has changed
Through the falling rain
Through the wind and open skies
The light remains
No matter where we are
Like a fire in the distance
Like a star that never dies
We did not come this far
To turn around and disappear
Every road became a part of us
Every moment brought us here
So let the years keep moving
Let the world keep changing too
There is no need to hold tomorrow
When I know I'll walk with you
The light remains
When everything has changed
Through the falling rain
Through the wind and open skies
The light remains
No matter where we are
I can feel it in the distance
I can feel it in your heart
The light remains
Through the ocean and the years
Through the silence and the thunder
Through the laughter and the tears
And if the road keeps turning
We'll follow where it goes
With an open heart before us
And the love we've always known
The road goes on
The sea rolls on
The morning comes
And we move on
The sky grows bright
The night is gone
Whatever comes
The light remains
Golden light is in the air
After every night of waiting
We can feel the world out there
There are roads we never planned for
There are places we don't know
But the sun is on our faces
And together we can go
We don't need a perfect answer
We don't need to know the way
Life is waiting just beyond us
And we're ready for the day
This is the road we choose
With the sunlight in our eyes
Every step we take together
Takes us further into life
This is the road we choose
And wherever it may lead
I'll be walking right beside you
That's the only thing I need
Feel the wind across the open fields
Hear the ocean far below
Every season has a reason
Every river has to flow
We have carried storms behind us
We have watched the dark roll through
But the sky is opening before us
And the world is turning blue
There is no need to fear tomorrow
There is nothing we must prove
We have everything before us
We have everything to lose
This is the road we choose
With the sunlight in our eyes
Every step we take together
Takes us further into life
This is the road we choose
And wherever it may lead
I'll be walking right beside you
That's the only thing I need
Let the years come like the seasons
Let the changing world go by
We will take the days they give us
And we'll meet them side by side
There is music in the distance
There is fire in the sun
And as long as we keep moving
There is nowhere we can't go
This is the road we choose
With the sunlight in our eyes
Every step we take together
Takes us further into life
This is the road we choose
And wherever it may lead
I'll be walking right beside you
That's the only thing I need
This is the life we have
And we're gonna make it shine
With the whole world still before us
And your hand inside of mine
This is the road we choose
Underneath the open sky
And whatever comes tomorrow
We'll be ready for the ride
The sun is rising
The road is wide
You're here beside me
I'm here by your side
The road goes on
The light is strong
And we keep moving
We keep moving on

A product tied to a tier stays purchasable right now. If its tier isn't reached by the deadline, that product will simply not be charged to you — the rest of your preorder is never affected.
Total: 0 €
You are not charged now: your payment method (card or PayPal account) is saved and will only be charged if the funding goal is reached by 2 September 2027. If it isn't, nothing is charged. Delivery happens once the product is ready (digital or physical).
A preorder is registered separately from the shop cart: nothing here is added to your cart, and the items already in your cart are not affected.
Support the band with a free donation — thank you!
